The Northeast is one of the least churched areas of America and Vermont is one of the least churched areas in the Northeast. Yet, God is at work in Vermont as new churches are started and small communities are transformed through the Gospel. I am excited that Northeastern Baptist College will be offering a BA in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Church Planting & Entrepreneurial Leadership. This course of study will uniquely prepare students to start churches while supporting their families through entrepreneurial activities that enhance ministry instead of distracting from it. This will allow Northeastern to fill in one of the "missing pieces" that is vitally needed for a revival to sweep across the Northeast once again.

Northeastern Baptist College will provide a desperately needed avenue through which we can develop the new generation of leaders we need for New England. I was excited when I heard of the founding of Northeastern Baptist College.  New England was a stronghold of Christianity in the early days of our country.  Some of the great movements of God occurred in New England as well.  Since 20% of the population resides in this area there is a great need for such a school.  NEBC has a great administration and faculty who are committed to training pastors and church leaders for New England and for the world.  They have put together a great curriculum and a great plan to make NEBC a mighty influence in our country.

At Northeastern Baptist College student activities and involvement play a critical part in the life of each student.
